The Ahrenshoop author Ingrid Schreyer reads from her book "Malerinnen in Ahrenshoop - von der Kaiserzeit in die Moderne" ("Women painters in Ahrenshoop - from the imperial era to modernity") on the biography of Frida Löber, whom she met in 1972.
It describes the difficult life of the painter and craftswoman, who moved to Althagen with her husband, the sculptor Wilhelm Löber, in the early 1930s and mainly painted portraits of her eight children and Fischland landscapes.
