Ingrid Schreyer describes the private and political attitude to life at that time - from the 11th Plenum in 1965 to the Prague Spring of 1968.
In September 1963, the well-known writer Wolfgang Schreyer invites his secretary to his summer house in Ahrenshoop for a few weeks. She met Brigitte Reimann, Stefan Heym, Reiner Kunze and Erich Loest in the author's garden.
