Why is asparagus so popular?
Asparagus has a delicate, slightly sweet and nutty taste and is rich in valuable nutrients such as vitamins, minerals and fiber. The relatively short asparagus season (April - June) also makes this healthy vegetable a much sought-after delicacy.
