Alison Darby & Juliane Tübke - AM RYCK
Caspar David Friedrich's drawing "Am Ryck in Greifswald with a view of the mills in front of the Steinbecker Schanze" (1801) inspired Alison Darby and Juliane Tübke to create a duo exhibition. Their works explore the transformation history of the Ryck meadows from multiple perspectives and speculate on the future of Greifswald's moors. While Tübke focuses on the power of the (Ryck) water, Darby concentrates on new materials from future moorland management. The multimedia installation by the two artists creates a current landscape image of the Ryck meadows and encourages speculation about future developments. Venue: Winter greenhouse of the Botanical Garden - Münterstraße 2, 17489 Greifswald With Caspar David Friedrich through the year 2024 - we'll be there!
