On the second weekend in August, the Baltic resort of Sellin is all about maritime sports. The race starts on Friday at 10.30 am and on Saturday at 10 am and 1.30 pm. In the evening, the people of Sellin and their guests celebrate at cozy beach parties.
The second weekend in August, 09 and 10.8.2023, is all about maritime sports in Sellin. The outriggers will be paddling at the 8th Rugia Hoe Festival on Sellin's south beach on Friday at 10.30 am and on Saturday at 10 am and 1.30 pm. The big race on Friday goes to Thiessow and then, after a crew change, on to the island of Vilm and back. On Saturday, the competition takes place close to the coast so that spectators can experience the sporting spectacle up close. In the evening, participants, Sellin residents and their guests celebrate together at cozy beach parties.
