Prizewinners of the International Ostracized Music Competition
At the 8th KON-Takte concert on 08.11.2024 at 7 pm in the Brigitte Feldtmann Hall of the Schwerin Conservatory in Puschkinstraße 6, prizewinners of the International Competition Ostracized Music will present themselves.
Their outstanding interpretations are a reminder of forgotten composers who were persecuted by the Nazis. The program includes works by Alexander Zemlinsky, Hans Gál, Bohuslav Martinů, Paul Hindemith and Arnold Schönberg. The performers are Charlotte Reitz (cello), George Needham (piano), Constanza Martinez (violin), Rin Watanabe (piano), Iga Kowalczyk (voice) and Diandian Zhang (piano).
These chamber music works from the beginning of the 20th century are special treasures in the music literature and are not often heard in concert halls. We are therefore particularly pleased to be able to present this music to you in our KON-Takte series.
The concert will take place as part of the Tag der Verfemten Musik, which can be experienced in Schwerin from November 8-10, 2024.
Admission for the event on 08.11.2024 costs 12 euros, reduced 8 euros. Tickets can be reserved by emailing Ms. Semlow at dsemlow@schwerin.de.
