33rd Zappanale Bad Doberan at the racecourse from July 18 - 21, 2024

For three days in July (2024: 18 - 21 July), the music, world view and humor of US rock musician Frank Zappa will be celebrated at the racecourse in Bad Doberan. He was known for his unique rhythms, quirky lines and non-conformist style.

Dear Zappanale fans,
Following this quote from Frank, this year we have a little surprise for all the creative minds among you!
An idea was suggested to us that has inspired us and that we would like to realize this year a small
"Open Space" Stage
On this stage (3x4 m) you, the festival visitors, can perform something yourselves and share your skills with others.
You can present music, poetry, dance, performance, etc.
We would like to encourage you all to come up with something for this new stage. Everyone should bring their own equipment.
