"Kirsten Fuchs reads Kirsten Fuchs"
Kirsten Fuchs looks at everyday life partly through smeared rose-colored glasses. With a crack in the glass. But in 3D, of course. Big heart, big feelings. Nothing exaggerated, everything true. Suspicions of corniness are confirmed. But it doesn't matter. Fuchs delivers Kirsten Fuchs insights in an inimitable way: You learn, for example, how to make cashiers happy, the advantages of a plug in the ear or how to use contractions to generate electricity. It's also about strawberry cap thieves, magically beautiful sewing moms, confusing dog acquaintances, family, children and park encounters - a kaleidoscope of everyday curiosities.
In addition to texts from her short story collections "Eine Frau spürt so was nicht" and "Kaum macht man mal was falsch, ist das auch wieder nicht richtig", Fuchs also brings along her columns, reading stage texts and even unpublished texts."
Kirsten Fuchs (*1977 in Karl-Marx-Stadt) lives in Berlin. She writes for "Das Magazin" and has published various novels, short story collections and plays. Fuchs has been active at various reading stages and currently reads at "Fuchs & Söhne" and "Des Esels Ohr". In 2015 she was awarded the Brothers Grimm Prize of the State of Berlin, in 2016 the Kassel Prize for Comic Literature and the German Youth Literature Prize for her novel "Mädchenmeute" (Rowohlt Berlin).
