25th Classical Night

Rostock Zoo celebrates its 125th birthday in 2024. To mark the anniversary, the 25th Classical Night at the Zoo will take place on June 7, 2024 in cooperation with the Volkstheater Rostock. Under the motto "Vienna, Vienna, only you alone!", the zoo and the Norddeutsche Philharmonie Rostock under the direction of conductor Marcus Bosch invite you to a lively concert evening that takes you to the famous waltz metropolis.

This is the fourth appearance at the Classic Night at the Zoo for Marcus Bosch, who is the artistic director of the Norddeutsche Philharmonie Rostock. In the course of his career, he has already conducted more than 100 orchestras from all over the world. He is also a professor at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater in Munich, where he is dedicated to training the next generation of conductors. Three tenors will be performing at the 25th Klassik-Nacht: Adam Sánchez from Mexico, known as "Don José" in Rostock's "Carmen", the American singer James J. Kee and Tobias Zepernick, both from the Rostock music theater ensemble.
