An afternoon to experience the city library in a different way is on offer on November 8. Whether it's a journey into the past or discovering modern media, everything is possible from 1.30-6.00 pm.
The keynote speech on the history of the Ludwigslust City Library by library director Anke Ballhorn has so far only been presented to selected guests. On Friday, November 8, everyone will now have the opportunity to hear it in the town hall. Ms. Ballhorn will tell two exciting stories and anecdotes from 100 years ago. Some old and recent photos will also be shown. The event starts at 3.00 pm and 5.00 pm.
There will also be three opportunities this afternoon to take part in a guided tour of the "100 years of the town library" exhibition in the town hall. The tours start at 2.30 pm, 4.00 pm and 4.30 pm.
Throughout the afternoon, there will be the opportunity to try out various media in the library, such as Bee-Bot robots, the Sami reading bear, audio pens, Tonies, cookies and games from the Library of Things and the TechnoThek.
All offers are free of charge. Please call 03874/526242 to register in advance for the dates of the fixed contract.
