Folk Songs
English folk forms the basic tone of Ray Cooper's songs, almost all of which are written by himself. He underlines his expressive voice on cello, guitar, mandolin, harmonica or piano, depending on the theme and mood. The folk singer and multi-instrumentalist returns this time with a mix of familiar and new songs.
From 1989 to 2013, Cooper was the bassist, cellist and singer of the British folk-rock legend Oysterband, which released top albums such as "Rise Above", "Here I Stand" and "Freedom and Rain" (with June Tabor). Cooper moved to Sweden in 2000, "to a small red house near the forest and wild animals". Since then, he has mainly released solo albums.
Admission is €15, €10 for schoolchildren, students and the severely disabled.
