Steffen Melle presents his new book on the history of pubs in Stralsund's old town. He gives an overview of almost 700 years of pub and brewery development in the city, tells of disputes in and around the pubs in the Swedish era and of the consequences of the growing number of pubs in the 19th century. Pub biographies and amusing experiences from guests are also presented.
