It's that time of year again on May 1: the Wangelin garden starts the season. From 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., regional craftspeople and traders will be offering their products for sale: fruit trees, cacti and garden plants, including the much sought-after Wangelin organic tomatoes.
It's that time of year again on May 1: the Wangelin garden starts the season. From 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., regional craftspeople and traders will be offering their products for sale: fruit trees, cacti and garden plants, including the much sought-after Wangelin organic tomatoes. Ceramics, organic cheese, delicacies with olive oil and accessories knitted with hot needles round off the offer. There will also be freshly baked flatbreads from the clay oven, irresistible wild sausages and cakes baked by the Wangelin locals themselves.
May 1st is also a 4-fold kick-off: The Wangeliner Garten kicks off the new season with the garden café. The clay museum in Gnevsdorf will also be opening its doors again for the first time. As the highlight of this year's spring market, our mobile swap house will be presented to the public for the first time. Admission is free.
