Exhibition, Lecture & Science

The four-gate city of Neubrandenburg commemorates 35 years of peaceful revolution.

Historian Sandra Pingel-Schliemann and photographer Hendrik Lietmann present their book "Spurensuche. Places of the Peaceful Revolution in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern" to accompany the exhibition of the same name.

Contemporary witnesses Dr. Harry Schulz, Marita Richter and Petra Hoffmann will talk about their active time of awakening in 1989/1990 and all guests are invited to share their experiences and perspectives and discuss them together.

The event takes place on the occasion of the opening of the exhibition, which is being shown to mark the 35th anniversary of the Peaceful Revolution in Neubrandenburg. It is an exhibition of the State Center for Political Education M-V. It is organized by the Vier-Tore-Stadt Neubrandenburg with the support of St. Johanniskirche.
