Birdwatching with a ranger from the Southeast Rügen Biosphere Reserve
The approximately 138-hectare Sellin Lake is located south-east of the village of Sellin on the Island of Rügen in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. The lagoon-like bay is connected to the Having, a bay of the Rügen Bodden, via the Baaber Bek. It is an important resting area for many species of waterfowl. Swans, geese, various species of ducks, mergansers and divers can be observed here. With a bit of luck, the sea eagle can also be seen hunting.
Two spotting scopes are available. Please bring your own binoculars.
