On Holy Saturday, we invite you to an animal reading in the zoo right next to the lion enclosure. At 3 p.m., volunteer readers from the city library will present stories about this impressive animal species. We look forward to welcoming you to our animal reading.
Together with the Stralsund City Library, the zoo is presenting a fascinating lion story. Volunteer readers from the municipal library will whisk young visitors away into the exciting world of lions with a captivating story that will be read aloud at the lion enclosure. The children can admire the majestic animals in their natural habitat and experience them up close, while the zoo educator from Stralsund Zoo provides interesting information about the lions living in the zoo. Visitors will also have the opportunity to marvel at a real lion skull and learn more about the fascinating anatomy of these impressive animals. the event starts at 3 pm at the entrance to Stralsund Zoo. Alternatively, guests can also come directly to the lion enclosure. Stralsund Zoo and Stralsund City Library are looking forward to welcoming all animal lovers young and old to this special reading.
