Fantasy around the book

Germany's first book hotel has been located in Groß Breesen since 1998. A wonderfully and lovingly restored old manor house - typically Mecklenburg, with a southern flair - in an idyllic scenic location.

Step inside the Bücherhotel and you will find yourself surrounded by books. In all the corridors, in all the rooms, in the vaulted restaurant - simply everywhere.
In the entrance area there are boxes full of recently brought exchange books. Simply place yours next to them and go on a completely free search - with more than 300,000 books. For every two books you bring in, you can take one back with you.

Germany's first book hotel stands for individuality and warm hospitality, provided by the owners Conny and Torsten Brock and their wonderful staff.
"Das Gewölbe", historically preserved from 1833, is a cozy restaurant with bar and wine cellar. Dine from a balanced menu that changes with the seasons and enjoy the chef's personal recommendations. Experience fresh cuisine with many regional products.

The 2015 calendar of events in the year of self-confidence takes you on a varied literary journey with readings, concerts, weekend arrangements and magical journeys and many birthday offers.
