Castles and Manors

Not far from the Hanseatic City of Stralsund is the Altenpleen manor house. It was built in the 19th century.

The village Altenpleen was first mentioned in documents at the beginning of the 14th century. The manor house on the former manor was built in the second half of the 19th century. After the Second World War, the manor house served as a residential building. Today, the listed building is again privately owned.
