At the southern end of the Salzhaff, Boiensdorf offers you a 200-meter wide standing area when the wind blows from the west to the northeast. And perfect smooth water for practicing and tricks is on top.

The Boiensdorf spot is located at the southern end of the Salzhaff at the transition to the small peninsula Boiensdorfer Werder. By the way, the Salzhaff is named after the high salt content compared to other Bodden waters, which corresponds to that of the Baltic Sea. If you are looking for a large shallow water area without bigger waves and currents, you will find the right spot here. Through the local kite school beginners always get competent help to go safely on the water. The extra parking lot for campers and the nearby campground make the spot attractive for camping enthusiasts as well. However, you should note that the water area along the spot is divided into several areas. The windsurfing area is slightly to the left of the boat moorings, whereas the kitesurfing area is to the right. The spot is suitable for wind directions from W to NE.

The Salzhaff is very shallow and the standing area is therefore extremely large. Especially windsurfers have to walk further out at low tide so that the fin doesn't involuntarily become an anchor. Pepelow shows its best side with southwest to north.
