The "Pflegehotel Stralsund" was opened on August 30, 2016. It offers short-term or respite care after an inpatient stay because relatives are going on vacation or in other crisis situations.

The "Pflegehotel Stralsund" is a solitary short-term care facility as part of the social center of the welfare institutions of the Hanseatic City of Stralsund gGmbH "Am Grünhufer Bogen". In the immediate vicinity are the Strelapark with numerous shopping facilities, the Stralsund city forest with its zoo, and the HanseDom water, adventure and leisure park.

The nursing facility offers the homely character of a small hotel. It consists of 20 single rooms, each with just under 30 m². Each room is equipped with a bed, closet, bedside cabinet, sideboard with TV, comfortable sitting area, WLan and telephone as well as a private bathroom. 5 single rooms can also be used as double rooms through a connecting door. In the "Pflegehotel" there is a cafeteria, physiotherapy and a podiatry practice. The multi-purpose room for up to 80 people can be booked for events. In the "Pflegehotel Stralsund" you are very welcome if you want to take care.
