Trio Nidaš
In their new program "Café 1930" the Trio Nidaš revives the musical diversity of the 1930s.
The three musicians tell how the tango found its way from the brothels into the concert halls, how Django Reinhard achieved world fame with only three fingers of the left hand and significantly influenced the swing scene. The audience gains insight into how, at the same time, classical violinists in European climes found their way into the Viennese salons, where they exchanged ideas with like-minded people, or how, inspired by the Klezmorim, they composed virtuoso works with an Eastern European touch.
While the world at that time was partly filled with dramatic changes, the café remained a quiet meeting place to forget the worries for a while or to let the soul dangle.
Classical music, klezmer, tango and gypsy swing - all these styles can be found again in "Café 1930", based on the piece of the same name by Astor Piazzolla.
In addition to the musical stories, the three musicians give insights into their work of arranging and thus try to open a direct and personal access to their music for the listeners.
