Classical and folk music

String quartet and Franz Schubert? A clear case! Franz Schubert and folk music? Likewise, the Austrian composer has repeatedly used many motifs from traditional country songs, dances and songs, thus influencing generations of musicians. So it is almost a matter of course that Schubert's masterpiece "Death and the Maiden" will be performed in a concert together with folk music, played by the Danish String Quartet and the duo Hal Parfitt-Murray & Nikolaj Busk. A unique spring evening in the Kurhaus-Saal in Binz!
