The city library would once again like to help shorten the Advent season, which is so long for children.
The city library would once again like to help shorten the Advent season, which is so long for children. The Christmas mailbox in the children's library will open on November 25. There are also wish lists and matching envelopes for the post to Santa Claus. The Christmas mail will be sent directly to Himmelpfort so that every child receives a personal reply in time for Christmas.
The wish list can be designed on site and dropped into the letterbox specially provided for this mail. And then it's time to wait again. Perhaps media from the city library can shorten the waiting time even further? Books, DVDs, CDs and Tonies have been put back on the shelves by the hard-working Christmas elves in the library. Registration and borrowing is still free up to the age of 18.
To ensure that Santa's answer arrives in time for Christmas Eve, every child should hand in their wish list at the city library, Ulmenstraße 15, by December 13, 2024.
Children's librarian Birgit Buchholz points out: "Please don't forget the return address, otherwise Santa Claus won't be able to reply."
