Open-air reading stage

The open-air reading stage terrain vaguetakes place in open spaces in and around Rostock. Authors from Rostock and Mecklenburg-Vorpommern perform short stories, poetry and prose excerpts in a program lasting about 1 hour. The audience makes themselves comfortable on blankets they have brought with them. The setting is always more or less the same, the atmosphere different from place to place.

Parallel to the reading, a free-from-the-air text is created in the style of a cadavre exquis: everyone is allowed to take notes and add small pieces of text without knowing what is in the previous sections. At the end, the free-from-the-air text is revealed in its entirety and read aloud.
