A winter highlight of a special kind

The Barther Bodden is known for its sheltered location and spectacular winter scenery - ice floes included! Last year too, the frozen water presented a real challenge. Thanks to the fire department, the ice surface was cleared so that the brave swimmers could plunge into the ice-cold water. What will it be like this year? Let us surprise you!

The program starts at 11:00 and you can look forward to a mixture of adrenaline, good cheer and warming fellowship.

Stay warm - even in winter

Of course, the team on site will make sure that nobody has to freeze. After jumping into the cold water, you can change in heated changing tents or warm up in the mobile sauna "Knisterkiste" or a hot tub. For those who prefer to stay dry, there are hot drinks, freshly grilled delicacies and crispy stick bread right on the shore.

Entertainment for young and old

To make the day an unforgettable experience, we have prepared a varied program for you:

Sporty warm-up: Claudia Pedro-Schröder will get you going and show you how to start with good New Year's resolutions.

Music and atmosphere: DJ Tino heats things up with the best beats.

Delicacies & more: The Barth Carnival Club, the volunteer fire department and the Bernstein Knights will provide you with everything that tastes good and warms you up.
