Interactive exhibition
-How long does it take for a plastic bottle to decompose?
- Which EU member state had the worst carbon footprint in 2020?
- How many liters of water are in a cup of coffee?
- By how many degrees can tree-lined parks cool the surrounding air?
- To what extent can illiteracy endanger health?
- Which countries are leaders in the use of renewable energies?
- Answers to these and other questions are provided by an interactive exhibition "17 goals squared - sustainability you can touch" on the 17 world goals adopted by the United Nations. It will be on display at Güstrow Town Hall from September 3 to 29. Admission is free. In 17 individually designed wooden cubes, many elements invite visitors to touch and participate. For school classes from Year 7 upwards, there is an accompanying quiz with which the pupils can explore the exhibition themselves and answer questions. The exhibition is therefore also suitable as an impulse and inspiration for school projects at the start of the school year and, of course, for all interested visitors.
