A jazzy journey through the standards of 20th century popular music as well as dancing rhythms and warm melodies
In the heart of Stralsund's old town, the warm summer nights can be temporarily experienced in a different way. With culture, art & gastronomy! The Stralsund Summer Garden, which is taking place for the second time, promises a cozy atmosphere with a varied, daily cultural program and a pop-up beer garden. ☀️
The Stralsund Summer Garden takes place from 30.07. to 18.08. and, like last year, at St. Nikolai Church.
The popular music standards of the 20th century have been interpreted many times, especially by jazz musicians. Tobias Altripp and Sebastian Braun will be playing well-known melodies such as "Fly Me To The Moon", "Sunny", "What A Wonderful World" and other such standards with piano and double bass, which may be less familiar to some, but are definitely just as worth listening to.
Nobutthefrog enchant us with their magical indie folk and remind us of the hidden beauty of the world. Sunday Morning Orchestra, on the other hand, dances with gentle voices around the woody depths of the double bass, accompanied by reduced guitar harmonies.
A few years ago, these two duos came together by chance and embarked on a musical journey together. At their double concerts, you can look forward to multi-faceted fusions and unique rhythms. Look forward to a double concert full of multi-faceted fusions and unique sounds!
