To show the world in all its beauty and vulnerability, art can create windows. Christoph Ludewig's paintings are meant to be such windows! With his oil paintings, graphics and collages, he wants to show the viewer insights and views, both in the surrounding creation as well as in the spiritual dimension of our being.
An inspiration for the chosen theme was also the many journeys that Heinrich Schliemann undertook throughout his life - this closes the circle to the exhibition venue, the Schliemann Museum in Ankershagen.
