The fairy tale "Snow White and Rose Red" combines many particularly beautiful elements of the fairy tale. There is the firm cohesion of the siblings, a guardian angel who protects them, a human being transformed into animal form and a fantasy creature who is completely dominated by his greed. Also typical, as for many other fairy tales, is that the protagonists are initially found rather in the lower strata of society and experience a fairy-tale rise at the end. Love is the central motif from the beginning.
With the new ensemble, choreographer Jutta Ebnother goes on a playful journey of discovery and develops lively and multifaceted characters. Together with the dancers, she invites them to fantasize together. Set designer Axel Rothe creates objects and play spaces with a love of detail. Nicola Clarissa Gehring's costumes also contribute in a nuanced way to the magic of the emerging production, which is also not short on humor.
