Concert in the castle courtyard
For 50 years, Rheinsberg Palace was the residence of Prince Heinrich. His political ambition, which was full of initiative, was kept in check by brother Frederick by virtue of his royal authority. However, he could not prevent Heinrich from traveling to the city of their dreams in 1784 at the invitation of the French king, and certainly envied him greatly for it. From the repertoire of the Parisian "Concerts spirituels", Alexis Kossenko and the Theresia Orchestra create a concert evening that evokes the international flair of the musical metropolis. The orchestra unites young musicians from the most important European schools of early music, and the choir includes selected prize winners from the Kammeroper Schloss Rheinsberg. And lo and behold: Europe harmonizes!
A cooperation with the Potsdam Sanssouci Music Festival.
