Legal assessor for family law and mediator provides online information on asset and debt division, inheritance, gifts and real estate ownership in the event of separation and divorce. Organizer/contact: Interest group for maintenance and family law (ISUV)
When a marriage or partnership breaks down, the (shared) home often becomes a cost trap: two households have to be financed in the future, alimony often has to be paid, loans have to be repaid, ancillary costs and taxes have to be paid, tax classes have to be changed. Legally, many arrangements are possible. However, practice shows the enormous potential for conflict: right of access and right of residence, valuation of the property, who can/wants to take over the house? Continuation of loan repayments, interest on early repayments, advantage of living or compensation for use as well as partition auctions are terms that are clearly explained by an experienced legal assessor and mediator in an online event, with reference to fair and cost-saving solutions. A solution often seems impossible to the parties involved, but it can be reached fairly by mutual agreement on the basis of the information provided. When dividing the (remaining) assets of the spouses - the equalization of gains - certain key dates are of particular importance for determining the value. Debts, gifts and inheritances are also taken into account. There are mutual obligations to provide information on all of these. The speaker will also give practical tips, legal advice and answer questions. The event is organized by the Interessenverband Unterhalt und Familienrecht (ISUV), contact point Ravensburg-Überlingen, Oberschwaben, Bodensee.
Participants are welcome to make a small donation. Registration by e-mail to: rostock@isuv.de (Mr. Ernst) is required so that the access link can be sent to you.
