Adventures in Mexico - Between village life and tourist destinations - A photo report by Christiane Ulrich, midwife in Malchow

"For a long time I lived in the small indigenous village of Zitim in southern Mexico. Now, for the first time, I have a visit from a member of "my" Mexican family! In an illustrated talk, I would like to take you into the home of my friend Andrés Huacash Vazques, whose everyday life is very different from life in Germany. From Zitim, we will then embark on a journey to different regions of Mexico, where we will introduce you to some of the cultural, folkloric and culinary highlights of this beautiful country. You will also be able to admire and purchase small Mexican handicrafts from Chiapas in a small solidarity bazaar."
