"Painterly Encounter" - Exhibition:

"I live - therefore I paint" Ilona Butz takes literally. Days without an engagement with a white canvas, paper, paint, pens - are lost days. After several years of training at the Kunstwerkstatt Leverkusen, she works as a visual artist with the themes: Encounters, experiences, feelings with people, animals and nature trigger ideas that Ilona Butz implements with oil paint or acrylic on canvas. Watercolors and drawings on paper are created on the spot, in front of the motif. Series are created thoughtful, mischievous, serious and fantastic painting. Many sketchbooks are filled with painted motifs. Exhibition Duration: until 14.06.
