Reading with Tomas Blum as part of the 23rd Ahrenshooper Literaturtage
Matthis Andres is a helper. His willingness to help goes so far that he even takes responsibility for a broken finger in exchange for a bribe. It is this finger that makes him suspicious: Matthis Andres, who has been killing for years just to help - and who betrays himself with the diary about his 99th victim. "I'm afraid that people might look at me. Maybe then they would discover it. How helpless I am. Sometimes I think I'm afraid of the day because I don't know what I enjoy. And when I do know, I'm afraid to just do it. Only when it comes to helping, I'm not afraid. I just do it. I am a helper. - Is there unconscious fun?"
