Canceled last year due to rain, Eugené Mursky returns to the "Swimming Piano" - this time for a solo concert. The award-winning pianist plays works by Beethoven, Mozart, Chopin, Schubert & Liszt on Lake Eixen. Seating is limited.
Eugené Mursky was supposed to play the second half of the concert at last year's "Swimming Piano" on Lake Eixen. However, the event had to be canceled during the break due to bad weather. This year, he will return and play the entire concert on his own. We hope that everyone involved will have better luck this time so that we can experience this special artist live. Eugené Mursky was born in what is now Uzbekistan and grew up in Tashkent. He received his first piano lessons there. Mursky then studied in Moscow with Prof. Lev Naumov, one of the most famous piano teachers in the Soviet Union. From 1993, he continued his studies at the Trossingen and Hanover music academies in Germany and won first prize at the World Piano Competition in London in 1994 for the best interpretation of Chopin. This was followed by concerts all over the world, both as a soloist and with renowned orchestras. In Eixen, Eugené Mursky will present an extraordinary concert program on the floating stage. In addition to the obligatory "Moonlight Sonata" by Beethoven (with the subtitle "Quasi una Fantasia") in the 2nd part of the concert, works by Mozart, Chopin, Schubert and Liszt will also be performed. Please note: A limited number of seats are available.
