Chamber concert

The Japanese expression "mono no aware" is difficult to translate into German and is often translated as "pathos of things". The term describes an attitude towards life, an awareness of the fleetingness and transience of all things and the beauty that comes with it. "Mono no aware" has inspired countless artists in music and literature over the centuries. The concert in the magnificent Putbus Theater explores this feeling with selected works and a reading from the Old English poem "Deor's Lament".

With the kind support of the town of Putbus
