Reading of the authors nominated for the MV Literature Prize and award ceremony by the jury and the audience (on site and online)
Every two years, we award the Mecklenburg-Vorpommern Literature Prize to authors with a close connection to the region. This year, more than 90 applications were received. A jury selected five nominees from the anonymized submissions. They will present their texts in a reading during the award ceremony in Greifswald. The jury will then award the MV Literature Prize. The audience can also vote: The guests on site will award an audience prize, as will the viewers who watched the reading in the stream. (The link to the stream can be found at https://literaturrat-mv.de/). The MV Literature Prize is organized by the LiteraturRat MV and the Literaturzentrum Vorpommern im Koeppenhaus, the Künstlerhaus Lukas Ahrenshoop and the Literaturhaus Rostock, funded by the Ministry of Science, Culture, Federal and European Affairs of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern and the Hanseatic City of Greifswald. The MV 2024 Literature Prize will be awarded on the occasion of the Caspar David Friedrich anniversary year in Greifswald.
