The Rostock Seals were founded in 2010 as RoLaX e .V. out of a rapidly growing university sports area, making it the first official lacrosse club in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern.
Since 2014, the Rostock Seals have held an annual lacrosse beach tournament as part of the Warnemünder Woche in Rostock. After six women's and five men's teams fought for the trophies in the first year, ten teams each started in 2015. We are looking forward to the next years and the proper romp in the sand of Warnemünde.
