With the motto "Metamorphosis - The infinite transformation", the already 19th Ice World year in Rövershagen now starts on November 25 with a completely new concept. Instead of closing the ice world for a few weeks like the years before and reopening it with new sculptures, it remains open for the visitors and is from now on in a constant change and eternal transformation. For 365 days at a time, the ice figures are dismantled, reshaped and transformed into a new ice sculpture by the world's best ice artists. Every month, one or two artists will implement new creative ice figures according to their wishes and ideas. Visitors can watch and be live as the wonderful ice sculptures are created. There will be a daily live carving with moderation in the ice world from 2 to 3 pm. One of the new highlights for visitors: with the help of mapping (video projection, only possible with snow figures), the Frog Prince comes to life.
