Johanna Pichlmair (violin) and Frank-Immo Zichner (piano) as guests at Libnow Manor House, with works by Beethoven, Bloch, Grieg and Saint-Saens

Johanna Pichlmair has been playing with the Berliner Philharmoniker as one of the first violins since March 2020,
She was a scholarship holder of the Karajan Academy and attended masterclasses with Pinchas Zukerman, Lewis Kaplan and Eberhard Feltz, among others.
She has won over 20 prizes as a soloist at national and international competitions.
As a soloist, she has performed with orchestras including thewith the Orchestre Symphonique de Montréal, the Münchner Rundfunkorchester, the Nürnberger Symphoniker and the Grazer Philharmoniker,
as a chamber musician at the Schleswig-Holstein Musikfestival and the Ludwigsburger Festspiele, among others.
The Deutsche Stiftung Musikleben is providing Johanna Pichlmair with a violin by Joseph filius Andreae Guarneri, Cremona 1730 from the German Musical Instrument Fund.

Frank-Immo Zichner, a pianist with an extraordinarily broad repertoire, has recorded numerous CDs, which have been awarded the German Record Critics' Prize, the Supersonic Award and the Diapason Découverte, among others.
As a soloist and chamber musician, he has performed in over 30 countries worldwide, including as a soloist with the Deutsches Symphonie-Orchester Berlin (DSO), the Konzerthausorchester, the Rundfunk-Sinfonie Orchester Berlin (RSB) under the direction of Marek Janowski, Michail Jurowski, Michael Sanderling and others.a.
Frank-Immo Zichner has been teaching at the Berlin University of the Arts since 2011, where he founded the UdK Chamber Music Center.
He has taught solo piano, chamber music and accompaniment at universities in Berlin, Leipzig, Rostock and Weimar.
2004 Frank-Immo Zichner was Visiting Professor at the University of Music in Bloomington (USA), standing in for Menahem Pressler.
Zichner has given masterclasses in Germany and abroad and has been a jury member at international competitions.
