and 35 years of the Teterow City Museum in and around the Malchiner Tor
Historical and contemporary exhibits are the focus of International Museum Day on May 18, 2025. The day of action was proclaimed in 1977 by the International Council of Museums. The day of action will focus on the museum landscape in Germany and around the world, allowing visitors to discover the diversity of museums on Sunday, May 18, 2025. The third Teterow City Museum will be celebrating its 35th birthday on this day. It will be open on this day from 2 - 5 pm with the exhibition "The way back to Teterow - testimonies of a Teterow family from three centuries". The museum director invites visitors to take part in guided tours at 2 pm and 4 pm. Guests can relax with coffee and cake in the museum courtyard.
