A dance piece by the children's and youth courses of the art workshops
Friedrich is said to have said: "Art may be a game, but it is a serious one". His painterly play with traditional elements, personal references and perspectives has a special radiance. Sometimes controversial; directing the gaze, wanting to convey spiritual experience, the figures in Friedrich's works remain rather passive - frozen in a single magnificent moment. Taking the basic idea further, we say: "Play is art", not only in terms of cultural history, it is reminiscent of the carefree, deep immersion and truthfulness of children's play in the here and now. Caspar David Friedrich is to be emulated in an abstract and open-ended way. Under the direction of Dörte Bähr Admission: 10/5 Euro
