Can my Baltic Sea cruise be sustainable? The cruise industry is booming. But the ecological footprint is casting a shadow over the industry's image. What can a sustainable cruise vacation look like?

If you are interested in this question, the EIZ Rostock cordially invites you to Haus Europa in the Eastern Old Town on 17.07.2024 at 6 pm. Find out about the possibilities for shaping sustainable shipping tourism in Rostock. Get to know the background and let us discuss the impact of EU climate directives on local tourism together with our experts.
Rostock has one of the most efficient and modern ports in the southern Baltic Sea, enabling more than 7,900 calls by cargo, ferry and cruise ships every year. This also requires the development of new technologies in order to meet the EU's ambitious climate targets. At our event, you can find out exactly what the EU strategy envisages and what new innovations are already available.

Admission is free of charge, but registration is requested.
