Guided Tours & Tours, Children

Hibernation at Neustrelitz Zoo? Not at all.

Feed monkeys, porcupines and ferrets during the vacations. Or go on a tour of the zoo with the zoo keeper. There are exciting activities at the Stadtwerke Tiergarten during the winter vacations.

During the two vacation weeks, the zookeepers invite visitors of all ages to join them at feeding time on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday at 2 pm. On Thursday, zoo keeper Benjamin Schütze-Schulze will take visitors on a tour of the wintry zoo. Among other things, the following questions will be answered: Do the zoo animals hibernate? Is the stag the deer's husband? Who made a big animal fuss in Neustrelitz in 1721?

Monday (February 3 and 10) Monkey feeding

Tuesday (February 4 and 11) Porcupine feeding

Wednesday (February 5 and 12) Ferret feeding

Thursday (February 6 and 13) On tour with the zoo keeper

The feedings and the guided tour start at 2 pm. Meeting point is in the zoo bistro. All activities are free with an admission ticket to the zoo.
