Historical tour through the 1000-year history of Mecklenburg using the example of the Ludorf estate ensemble.
The Achtenhagen family has been welcoming guests to the baroque Ludorf manor house for 25 years. Once a week, owner Jannis Achtenhagen gives a guided tour of the estate ensemble, consisting of the patronal church, farm buildings and manor house. The manor's builder Adam Levin von Knuth and his extraordinary career will be presented, as will the jewel of the house, a magnificent hall with old ceiling paintings, discovered by chance during conversion work to a hotel.
