Music from Gdansk with organist ROMAN PERUCKI

Gdansk is a city of music with a long organ tradition. German, Polish, Swedish and Dutch influences came together here. Roman Perucki works as the first cathedral organist at Oliva Cathedral, near Gdansk, and is General Director of the Baltic Philharmonic Orchestra in Gdansk as well as President of the Pomeranian Association Musica Sacra. He also directs the International J.P. Sweelinck Organ Competition in Gdansk. His Usedom concert takes us back to the Renaissance and Baroque periods in the mighty Hanseatic city.

Music from Gdansk: works from the Gdansk tablature (1591) and Oliva tablature (1619) by Daniel Magnus Gronau, Johann Gottlieb Goldberg, Mieczysław Surzyński, Felix Borowski and Zbigniew Kruczek
