A nature tour for young and old. The tour covers an arc from the people here in the Bronze Age over the last century until today. It gives a view of the landscape and its history of formation, as well as traces of man and animal. What do the trees in the forest and the plants along the way tell us?
Thematic contents of this tour include: forestry managed mixed forest, hilly forest area with boulder blocks, boulders, beech forest, dead wood, marshy moor, burial mounds, settlement history, landscape formation, glacial gully lake with outwash cone, gravel mining, ice harvesting and gypsy gorge.
Dates: Every 2nd Tuesday from April to November (dates for individual groups on request).
Start: 9:30 a.m.
Duration: approx. 2.5 - 3 hours (approx. 5 km)
Meeting point: exit of Koldenhof (forest)
