One of the questions that preoccupies me in making the vessels is whether it is possible for the form to find an expression that goes beyond its everyday use value. At the same time, the form found should fulfill its function demanded by craftsmanship and withstand daily use. The starting point is always the cylinder turned on the disc, which subsequently deformed gives up its symmetry. (Pit Arens)
