The exhibition in Neustrelitz Town Hall on the second floor shows creative advertising posters that present the residential town of Neustrelitz from the perspective of fourth graders in a lively and playful way.
The new exhibition was created as part of the subject lessons of class 4a at West am See elementary school in Neubrandenburg. The pupils looked at their home region, the Mecklenburg Lake District, with a particular focus on the residential town of Neustrelitz. With the help of information brochures from the tourist information office, they gathered knowledge on topics such as fun and games, sights and the Neustrelitz area.
The children then designed individual advertising posters for the town. They wrote their own texts, chose headlines and added pictures from the brochures to the posters. With great creativity and commitment, a collection of posters was created that shows Neustrelitz from the children's perspective.
The posters not only reflect the children's enjoyment of the project, but also their curiosity about the city. The class hopes to be able to visit Neustrelitz together soon before they disperse in the summer. The exhibition invites you to discover the city through the eyes of children and share their enthusiasm.
You are welcome to use your time in Neustrelitz to visit the exhibition 15.01.-20.02.2025 at Neustrelitz Town Hall, 1st floor Markt 1 during general opening hours.
