Udo Scheel presents early and recent works.
Udo Scheel has had a significant influence on the art landscape and is recognized both nationally and internationally. The founding rector of the Münster Art Academy works with oversized formats that demonstrate his excellent sense of proportion and harmony. He plays with perspectives and invites the viewer to linger in his works -
from close up or from a distance. His reference to contemporary history is always present in his works, creating an incredible intensity and exciting
emotionality in his art. His pictures resist a clear classification into certain trends and schools, although one or the other seems to have memories.
Make a note: On February 18 at 11 a.m., pianist Christoph Reuter will play along with his paintings.
